That being said, I love spending time out exploring. I always have. I grew up in Germany when I was younger and I remember how, during the summer time, we used to take off after breakfast and not come home until our stomachs told us to. Or one of the neighbourhood kids relayed the message that our mother said it was time to come home.

That sense of adventure, that need for exploring has never lessened. Whether it is on a road trip to a new destination or breathing the fresh air and listening to the sounds of nature while out on a hike. I’m lucky to have an amazing partner-in-crime in my 12-year old daughter.

Life is short, don’t be afraid to live your own adventure 🙂
